Hana hou!

Tita said I needed to put some "cuter" pictures of Keala in the blog, so here they are. Enjoy!

From left to right:

  1. Kieki, Kalani (aka Superman) and Keala lounging
  2. Kahea with her twin
  3. Keala laughing at daddy ... she knows a good joke when she sees one!

Keala

This summer we welcomed our fourth (yes fourth) child into our family. Sarah Keala (kay-ah-lah) Kau'ionalani (kah-oo-ee-oh-nah-lah-nee) was born on July 23rd. Keala means "the way" or "the path" and Kau'ionalani means "the beauty of the heavens."

So far she's had a rough time being spoiled rotten by her brother and sisters. They love her and were so excited to have her here. We think she looks a lot like Kahea did when she was a baby, but you can decide for yourself. So far she's still keeping us up at nights, but we're hoping that will change soon (daddy needs his sleep!).

E komo mai, y'all!

Welcome to our blog! Being so far from both of our families, we figured this would be an easier way to share photos and keep everyone up-to-date on what's happening with us.

For those who don't know where we are living these days (because we seem to move every other day), we are in San Antonio, Texas. We've been here for a little over a year. We weren't too sure about it at first, but Texas is growing on us. The people, the culture and the warm winters have helped to make us feel a little more at home down here in the lone star state.
